Small business is the backbone of our country.

Kerry Payne Stailey, Founder, Polaris
Polaris Club's Founder, Kerry Payne Stailey has spent her professional life in pursuit of 'making a difference', to the thousands of accountants she supported in the global coaching network she co-founded and spent 15 years building, and to the consulting clients she has worked closely with since.
Kerry's conversations with local banks and entrepreneurs revealed that like so many business owners around the world, many Maine-based entrepreneurs found it challenging to achieve the focus on growth they'd hoped to when going into business.
They're just too busy 'doing it, doing it, doing it' to invest the necessary time and energy on working ON the business as well as IN it.
In fact, most felt that the dream they'd had when first starting out was a long way from their daily reality of "the grind".
Add to that a year around population of just 1.3 million, and a seasonal influx of 36 million tourists who spend around $8billion in the state every year, she recognized the huge opportunity for Maine business owners to grow their business as well as the economy of their local communities.
It was the perfect marriage between Kerry's desire to help Maine business owners thrive (not just survive), and her 20 years experience developing programs, systems, coaching content and networks supporting entrepreneurs worldwide, as they navigate the often choppy waters of business ownership.
In 2017 Polaris Club + Polaris Coaching was founded, based in Midcoast Maine and serving business owners from Portland to Bangor.
